Caithness free range eggs are laid and packed at the very
top of Scotland, overlooking the Pentland Firth and the Orkney Islands. Lochquoy Farm "(the house by the loch")
is a 100-acre family farm, owned and run by Mike and Liz Armitage in partnership with their son, Pete.
The farm
is all down to grass and any ground not grazed by the hens or the horses on livery is cut for silage and hay to keep the pastures
fresh.
We have farmed here for nearly 20 years, starting with beef and sheep and, 12 years ago, diversified into
free range egg production, offering a high quality product coupled with a seven-days-a-week delivery service, ensuring our
customers receive their eggs as fresh as possible.
